By the Coast
I chose to highlight this image of a beach because I really liked the waves crashing against it and flying high into the air. I used the glass sphere to highlight that image, as you can see the water shooting up. I had never seen anything like that before at the beaches I had been to.

Camp Farm
I chose to highlight this image of a spot at Camp Al-Gon-Quian because it is somewhere I have camped out numerous times. Camp is such a special thing to me, and it has beautiful sunsets like this. I took advantage of the glass sphere to clarify the sun in the background.

From the Top
I chose to highlight this image of this beach and the land behind it because it is one of my favorite spots to go on vacation. Whenever we are in Long Island, we make sure to visit the lighthouse at the end in Montauk. This exact spot is why they nicknamed Montauk "The End".

Two Homes
I chose to use these pictures of Barton Pond and the New York City skyline because they both represent very important places to me. I've lived in Ann Arbor almost my entire life, and the Barton Docks is a place I have gone for years to hangout with my friends and have fun. The NYC skyline represents the hope and nostalgia of being in my birthplace, where we visit annually.

Two Views
I chose to use these pictures of the pond at Skyline and the city of San Francisco because they represent (sort of) my past and my future. I've been at Skyline freshman through senior year, and it will always remain a special place for me. The next four years for me won't take place in San Francisco, but they will be in California.

Contrast Like No Other
I chose to use these pictures of a beach in Montauk, New York and the Chicago skyline because they contrast each other, but also because I really enjoy visiting both places. There's really nothing similar about a big city like Chicago and the beach in Long Island. One lifestyle is up-and-at-em 24/7/365, while the other is a slow, methodical life that seems outside of time.
